Jungle Base is a substrate material to be spread on the bottom of the tank where water tends to be stagnant in a paludarium. Pumice is used as the base in Jungle Base combined with soil microorganisms effective for plant growth and charcoal powder which maintains breathability in the substrate and prevents rot in the plant root. It’s recommended to use together with Jungle Soil.
