The Milwaukee MW700-WP Waterproof LUX Meter is a portable Lux meter to measure amount of light. It comes with a waterproof light sensor which allows you to measure the light intensity at the bottom of your aquarium.
Average indoor lighting ranges from 100 to 1000 Lux and average outdoor sun lights about 50000 Lux. Lux is a unit that indicates the density of light that falls on a surface.
The instrument is capable of measuring light intensity from 0 to 50000 Lux and accuracy of +/-6% reading +/-1 digit.
