The HI97115 Marine Master is a compact and versatile multi-parameter photometer designed to determine pH, alkalinity, ammonia, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, nitrite and phosphate in saltwater aquariums and marine biology applications.

Navy Master

The HI97115 can be used as a standalone photometer or can be connected to the Hanna Lab app with a smartphone or tablet via the integrated Bluetooth module. When connected, the Hanna Lab app features include measurements with the ability to add notes, data logging with expanded storage, data sharing, and the ability to create and save method groups.

The HI97115 photometer has an advanced optical system using an LED and a narrowband interference filter that enables accurate and repeatable measurements.
This immersion-tight meter is extremely intuitive and easy to use, with a help mode that guides you step by step.

The reference system compensates for any drift due to power fluctuations or changes in ambient temperature. With an LED light source you quickly obtain a stable measurement. The optical system is sealed from outside dust, dirt and water.

Hanna Lab App

When used with the HI97115, the Hanna Lab app adds an enhanced user experience to a compatible smart device. Features include: measuring with the ability to add notes, data logging with expanded storage capacity, data sharing and the ability to create method groups
and save.

CALCheck

Hanna Instruments’ exclusive CAL Check feature provides performance verification and calibration of the meter to NIST. Our CAL Check standard cuvettes are designed to simulate a specific absorbance value at a given wavelength to verify the accuracy of the measurements. The CAL Check display guides the user step by step through the validation process and user calibration.

Help function

The built-in help guides you step by step through the measuring process. It includes all steps required for sample preparation, required reagents and quantities.
This photometer is designed with a backlit display with virtual keys, a battery status indicator and error messages. The selected parameter and method used are displayed together with the measured value.

Battery status

These meters use three AA batteries that provide approximately 800 readings. The meter turns off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery power. An indicator shows the remaining battery life.
Methods include:

• pH value in seawater pH 6.3 to 8.6 (0.2 pH of reading at 25 C)
• Ammonia in seawater (0.00 to 2.50 ppm (as NH3) (0.05 ppm 5% of reading at 25 C)
• Alkalinity in seawater 0.0 to 20.0 dKH (0.3 dKH 5 % of reading at 25 C)
• Magnesium in seawater 1000 to 1800 ppm as Mg2+ (5% of reading at 25 C)
• Calcium in seawater 200 to 600 ppm (6% of reading at 25 C)
• Nitrate in seawater, low 0.00 to 5.00 ppm as NO3- (0.25 ppm 2% of reading at 25 C)
• Nitrate in seawater, high 0.0 to 75.0 ppm as NO3- (2.0 ppm 5% of reading at 25 C)
• Nitrites in seawater, ultra-low 0 to 200 ppb as NO2- (10 ppb 4% of reading at 25 C)
• Phosphate in seawater, ultra-low 0.00 to 0.90 ppm (0.02 ppm 5% of reading at 25 C)
