ADA has released Aqua Soil – Amazonia Ver. 2 Powder Type (3L). This product is made from the same materials as the original Amazonia Ver. 2 but features finer grains. Due to the limited availability of these finer grains, it is only available in a 3L size.
It can be used as a substrate for small aquariums or layered thinly on top of the standard Amazonia Ver. 2 substrates to create a neat and visually appealing front line. The finer grains also make it easier to plant delicate, fine-rooted ground cover plants, reducing the risk of them floating after planting.
Since it is made from the same natural soil as Amazonia Ver. 2, it promotes optimal water conditions for aquatic plants and tropical fish, making it a user-friendly substrate for both beginners and experts. Use it to create a stunning Nature Aquarium.
Note: Aqua Soil – Amazonia Ver. 2 Powder Type (3L) does not include Amazonia Supplement.
Designed to reproduce the image of the Amazon, create an aquascape depicting the fertile South American rainforest with the dynamic alternation of rainy and dry seasons. AQUA SOIL SERIES A high pH level (alkaline) of the substrate causes difficulties for aquatic plants in consuming nutrients. The Aqua Soil Series decreases the hardness of the water and lowers the PH level to the degree to which most aquatic plants can consume nutrients and comfortably grow. Aqua Soil granules maintain their shape and density for long periods underwater securing good circulation of water and oxygen through the substrate. With Aqua Soil, growing difficult plants such as Tonina sp. becomes easier, and it is ideal for fishes demanding soft water.
