Black Dragon / Black Calceo Shrimp

The Black Calceo Shrimp (Caridina sp. ‘Black Calceo’) is a stunning and unique freshwater shrimp species that is native to Southeast Asia. With its striking black and white coloration, it has become a popular choice for aquarium enthusiasts in Australia.

The Black Calceo Shrimp’s unique coloration is due to its dark black body and contrasting white stripes on its back and legs. This creates a striking and eye-catching appearance that is sure to be a conversation starter in any aquarium.

Typically growing up to 2-2.5 cm in length.

The pet shrimp you will receive will be sub adults, having a size around 0.7-1cm

Feeding: The Black Calceo Shrimp are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods including algae, biofilm, and commercial shrimp pellets. It’s important to provide them with a balanced diet to ensure their health and longevity.

Availability: The Black Calceo Shrimp are not as widely available as some other shrimp species and may be more expensive due to their rarity and popularity. They were breed at Micro Aquatic Shop
