Wine Red Shrimp

?Wine Red Shrimp or Red King Kong Shrimp, they have wine red color with one or two white stripes on the back. Wine Reds are a variety of Taiwan Bee shrimp, they are a mutation of crystal red, crystal black, and golden bee shrimp. Like all Caridina shrimp, Wine Reds prefer clean, soft acidic water.

? Among the shrimp in the hobby this is one of the most sought after shrimp. The Wine Red shrimp was first bred in Taiwan and is an outstanding mutation of CRS.

? Its vibrant wine-red and white translucent colors are exceptionally deep and bright. This shrimp species is really unique.

?Aquarium must be fully cycled with a lot of biofilms and plants for them to graze on. Ammonia and nitrite should always be zero, nitrate less than 25ppm. Weekly water change of 10-20% is suggested to keep the nitrate low. Feed only 2-3 times a week as overfeeding will cause shrimp death.
