Macropore is a Macro-porous Synthetic Polymer that controls nitrates by filtering out nitrogenous waste products. In the process of doing so this also helps create a crystal clear appearance in aquarium water.
Macropore turns darker brown as it reached capacity but can be recharged depending on its usage. If used in a freshwater environment this product can be recharged with a 6% saline solution. If used in a marine aquarium a bleach solution can be used to recharge the product.
1L of Macropore will treat 4800L of water for approximately 6 months.
